We're administering your survey. What does that mean exactly?

At School Perceptions, we are always looking for ways to simplify the data collection process for schools. We’ve also expanded our software capability in recent months to allow districts the freedom to choose an implementation method that works best for them.

Using our survey platform, districts can now opt to send their survey to parents, staff, and students from our software without the help of a project manager. This can be a great option if your district is looking for ways to cut down on costs. Our step-by-step instructions and video tutorials will guide you and your team every step of the way.

If you’re looking to simplify the process even more, hiring our staff to implement a survey for you is the right choice for your district. A member of our team will take care of everything from start to finish and provide support before, during, and after the survey.

Pre-survey, we will:

  1. Work with you to establish a timeline that works best for you, optimize your response rate, and schedule email reminders to be sent.

  2. Take care of all the emailing details. We can work directly with your student management expert and/or tech department to put everything into place so that parents/staff/students are each emailed their own unique survey link from our software system.

  3. Help you promote your survey. Prior to the survey launch, we will help you to prepare respondents by providing you with “heads-up” email language and press release examples or social media graphics if needed.

During the survey, we will:

  1. Email survey to staff, parents, or students.

  2. Send email reminders to non-responders, monitor response rates, and send additional reminders if needed.

  3. Keep you updated on response rates and suggest follow-up from the district when appropriate.

  4. Respond to questions. Our surveys are easy to access with a direct link in every email invitation. Even so, sometimes respondents still have questions. When they click “reply” to their survey invitation email, who will get that email? When administered by school perceptions, those questions are directed to an implementation manager who can help troubleshoot these common questions/issues:

    • I shared my survey code with someone else, and now it’s been used. What can I do?

    • I finished the survey. Can I get back in and make changes?

    • Is the survey anonymous? Can the District link my answers to me?

    • I can’t get my code/link to work.

Post-survey, we will:

  1. Monitor your survey response rate and advise extending your deadline when needed.

  2. Answer any questions you may have about navigating our online data portal.

  3. Suggest reports you might find valuable.

We take great pride in our customer service reputation. Contact us to learn more about your survey implementation options with our new Key Measurements System!
